Courses

We run a selection of life-long learning courses that can be taken by students who do not have any specialist scientific or mathematical background. These are multimedia courses taught using a variety of media such as interactive CD-ROM material, videos, DVDs, websites, online discussion forums. These courses are taken as part time distance learning courses, you do not need to attend any on-site classes.

Use the Course Information menu on the left to explore the current courses or take a look at the general details below.

Qualifications required

It is recommended to have school level science or maths (UK GCSE equivalent) for all our courses. If you feel you are a little rusty in these areas we recommend you visit your local library and checkout a GCSE level book. Our more advanced courses may have additional requirements, please check each course page for further information.
